What we offer

Make Matric Easy provides study notes and practice (mock) exam questions for Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (NSC) subjects, an AI study assistant, and related tools. By creating an account or buying a subject you agree to these Terms.

Accounts

You must give correct details and keep your password private. Your account is for you alone; sharing your login or the content is not allowed. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account.

Subjects, prices and access

New accounts can open every subject free for 1 day, once per student, with no payment details needed. The free day starts when you tap the button and ends 24 hours later. Subjects cost R25 per subject, any 5 subjects R99,99, or all subjects R149, and unlocks that subject's study notes, mock exams and AI tutor access for 30 days from the moment your payment is confirmed. After 30 days access ends and you must buy the subject again to keep using it. Bundle prices (any 5 subjects for R99,99, or all subjects for R149) only apply when the subjects are bought together in one purchase. They cannot be got by buying one subject and then more later in the week; subjects bought separately are charged at R25 each. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Paystack in South African rand.

Our content

The notes and questions are study aids written for exam practice, in the style and pattern of NSC papers. They are not official Department of Basic Education material. We work hard to make them accurate but mistakes can happen, so always check important facts against your textbook, your teacher and the official memoranda. If you spot a mistake, please use the flag button on the question so we can fix it.

The AI tutor and photo marking can be wrong. Photo marking is a guide, not an official mark. We cannot guarantee any particular exam result.

What you may and may not do

You may use the content for your own personal study.
You may not copy, resell, share, post online or redistribute the notes, questions or other content, or use automated tools to collect it.
You may not take screenshots or screen recordings of, photograph, print or otherwise capture the notes, questions or other study material.
You may not misuse the AI features, try to break or overload the site, or try to get access you have not paid for.

All content and the website belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. Buying a subject gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use it for the access period only.

Screenshots, copying and account locks

Study material is for your personal study only.

Where the site detects an attempt to take a screenshot, record the screen or print study material, it will warn you. The first attempt gives a warning (1 of 3), the second a final warning (2 of 3), and the third attempt locks study material on your account for 3 days. After the 3 days the count starts again. We keep your warning count and the lock end date on your account so that logging out or changing device does not reset them.

The site cannot detect every attempt, and a warning does not mean we have proof of wrongdoing. Not being warned does not make capturing or sharing the material allowed. While your account is locked you cannot open study material, but you can still sign in and use the past papers. Access you have paid for is not extended or refunded for the locked days. If you think a lock was a mistake, email us and we will look at it. We may also suspend or close an account for serious or repeated copying or sharing, as set out below.

Refunds

Refunds are only available on the day of purchase: you must ask within 24 hours of paying, and a request made after the first 24 hours will not be refunded. Please read our Refund policy. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the site available but it may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on the content or on AI answers. Ending your account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Access you have paid for stays available until it expires unless the account was closed for breaking the Terms.

Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms and will show the new date at the top. These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
